Pokemon-A friendship made.

After seeing my latest post, [link] my good friend ~LevimHoshi got inspired and drew an AWESOME picture of my Darkrai and Cyndaquil meeting her trainers Deoxys and Porygon-Z!

I, in turn, was inspired, and drew this, what happened after the near-conflict!

Just as the two legendaries were about to start a fight, both trainers burst in and stopped them before things got out of hand. Everything was quickly sorted out, and it was explained that Dakuku and Cyndaquil were only playing with each other, and had in fact become fast friends. Both trainers then introduced themselves, and after discovering that Mia hasn't found a place to stop for the night yet, Ker offers to share her campsite. Mia gladly agrees, and the two head back, letting their Pokemon out to stretch their legs while they talk.

In this picture we have Ker's Kingdra Monty, her Vulpix Katt, Outlet the Magneton, Icikal the Glaceon, Dakuku the Porygon-Z, and Comet the Deoxys.

At first things go well for the group, with the 3 youngest Pokemon instantly becoming good friends, starting up a game with a ball Comet throws for them. However the two hotheads, Leo and Monty, soon get into an argument, and the other Pokemon have to try and intervene. Hopefully the trainers will notice before a fight breaks out!

And so we have the grand unveiling of Mia's Pokemon team!

Cynder the Cyndaquil (male). Mia's first Pokemon, he spends most of his time out of his Pokeball riding around on her head. Playful, brave, and optimistic, he's always a source of encouragement for Mia when things get rough. He can't quite control his fire yet, and it tends to start up whenever he gets excited, but what he lacks in skill he makes up for with courage and determination.

Zest the Pikachu (female). Rescued by Mia when she was found injured and abandoned on the road, Zest eventually came along with Mia of her own free will. She tends to be defensive and cautious around strangers, but once she relaxes she's actually a very friendly and playful Pokemon. She is very serious when she battles. Zest is one of the few people who can get Leo to listen to her, due to his crush on her. Zest finds this crush more trying then anything else, as Leo is constantly trying to show off in front of her.

Leonardo (Leo) the Staryu (male). Leo is always looking for a chance to prove his strength, and is a keen battler. With a lot of experience and power behind him, he quickly became the cornerstone of Mia's battling team. He has a huge crush on Zest, which only intensified when she beat him in battle. Although he can be a little hot headed and quick to show off, Leo is quick to defend anyone being bullied, and hates the strong picking on the weak.

Ivy the Bulbasaur (female) Ivy is the mother of the group, and the peacemaker. She is very kind and gentle, and prefers to either paralyze or knock out an opponent with sleep powder or poison powder then strike a physical blow. She is very defensive of children, and always looks after Cynder and Pepper, the youngest in the group. Because she also knows a lot of natural plant remedies, and can use Synthesis to heal, she often provides a first line of treatment after a battle.

Pepper (Pep) the Spoink (male). A young Pokemon, Pep has more energy and enthusiasm then he knows what to do with! Although he means well, and wants to help others, his tendency to rush things often does more harm then good. Mia found him attempting to help in a pastry shop, trying the patience of the owners as he caused more and more damage. Mia saw the good intentions he had, and offered to take him along with her. He can usually be found eating snacks (a habit from living in the pastry shop) and playing with Cynder.

Garnet the Trapinch (female). Mia wandered across two female trainers mocking a Trapinch for it's ugly looks in a city alley. The Trapinch in question had followed the young girls, liking their cute clothes and accessories, and was humiliated when told she was ugly. Mia berated the girls, who only laughed at her, saying that girl trainers only needed "cute" Pokemon. Mia yelled at them, saying every Pokemon was special in it's own way, and carried the Trapinch off without thinking. Garnet, as she was later named, was hugely moved by Mia's words and her belief in her inner beauty, and followed her. She is very sweet, though somewhat shy due to her lack of self confidence, and loves feminine accessories. She often gets Mia to carry her around when she's out of her Pokeball.

Galant the Aron (male). The newest addition to the team, Mia met Galant in a forest when he protected her and her female Pokemon from an angry swarm of Beedrills. Galant heard about human knights when he was young, and admired them so much that he strives to live according to their ethical and moral codes. He is chivalrous to a fault, and will not allow any harm to come to any female in his presence, nor will he fight a female, no matter the circumstances. This has gotten him into trouble, since his knight-like ethics drive him to right any wrong, yet will not allow him to break his self-made rule of not harming women. In general he is very sweet, kind and helpful, but is doggedly determined in his pursuit of justice and the upholding of his code as a "Pokemon knight."

Darkrai- (His name is still a secret I'm afraid!) Though technically genderless Darkrai identifies as a male. While he can seem gruff and menacing, look past his brooding nature, and you will find he is actually quite kind. He will most certainly not attack someone unless provoked. Due to Mia saving him in the past, and the friendship she continues to offer him despite all the rumors surrounding his species, he is very protective of the young trainer, and, by proxy, her team.
However Darkrai will never actually ADMIT to being kind or protective, and will usually give a gruff and fairly transparent excuse to explain any selfless act.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Mia has never captured Darkrai-he is a wild Pokemon, who follows her of his own free will. Anytime he assists her is his own decision, and she does not battle with him, and certainly cannot use him in any official match.
