Miyomon and Myomon

Description

I'm still in a Digimon mood!

These are two original Digimon I created years ago. I dug out some old sketches (Gah, the nostalgia!) and then spruced up their designs a bit and gave them some In-training forms.

Miyomon is my own fan-digidestined's partner, and Myomon was a friend I created for her.

A bit more history then, for those interested.

Miyomon was my first Digimon creation, who I designed to be my digidestined characters partner.
Gatomon was my favorite Digimon at the time so her design was heavily influenced by her, as you can probably tell.
She hasn't been changed much in this drawing from my old sketches, mostly I just wanted to draw her now to see how much I've improved from those old sketches. I really only smoothed her out and clarified the design of her forehead symbol.

Myomon (you pronounce it My-o-mon) I created on a whim one day.
At the time I was messing about, wondering what Kaioshin's digimon partner would be like if he ever had one and came up with Myomon. Later on I grew fond of the design and decided he would be Miyomons digimon friend.
Myomons design has had the most change, I added and made the existing markings on his body more defined, and gave him a lot more detail that he was missing before.
I'm a little annoyed in that the markings don't seem to look as obvious now as they did when I was colouring, and his whiskers seem to have blurred out the ones on his cheeks completely.
Maybe next time I'll try a slightly darker shade of blue.

Anyway, Digimon belongs to someone else.
Miyomon and Myomon and there in-training forms belong to me.

Daaw, cute. :3

Ok... the only thing that stands out to me are the arms... I'm not sure why though. Maybe draw them spread out instead of having them tucked in?
